Failed physical

Hi all,

Just got back from my physical today. I didnt 6 tests and think I passed 5 of them, on the BA crawl I got through to the end which was the half way point, when I stood up before going the opposit way, with the breathing mask on I felt that I couldnt breathe and I was really struggling, I had to take the mask off and the instructer said thats a fail.

Abit gutted but atleast I know what to expect the next time if I reapply - just got to wait for the letter confirming todays results now.

Hi Mike congrats on passing the other sections of the tests, I know the ba mask feels alien at first and it does take a while to get used to it on your face and to relax your breathing.

Don't give up mate, if you have failed then just ask them when you can take the tests again

Thats a shame mate, but as you said least you know what to expect for next time. It is a bit awkward when theyre on, i just remember the sweating like mad with it on had to wipe the screen after. Its a bit different with a cannister on as it cool on your face.

I done similar yesterday but didnt take the mask off. Was gutted myself last night but the missus and others ive spoke to say im being harsh on myself with what i did manage to achieve yesterday with the other tests.
